Hello Northern California Members!

The NorCal chapter of NLGJA: The Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists has been mostly inactive for some time and is looking for new leadership. If you or someone you know is interested in reviving this chapter, now is a great time to do so because leadership nominations are open!

If you would like to revive the chapter and run for chapter leadership, please complete this nomination form and submit it by December 19, 2023 - 5 pm ET.

Hello members! NLGJA-NorCal is joining other local journalism groups again this year for a holiday party. All are welcome and the event is free. It takes place at 433 Natoma Street in San Francisco from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday, December 19 (yes, that's tomorrow)! Please RSVP on the link so organizers have a headcount.

We also need volunteers to help with setup, cleanup, and staffing the door (for half-hour shifts, so you can get back to enjoying the party). If interested, please email chapter treasurer Owen Thomas at [email protected].
