Another exciting day at Kolping San Francisco! To celebrate Chinese New Year, we enjoyed a delicious lunch prepared by Chefs Irene Lambly, Steve, Mary Brinkmann, and Muffy Friel, followed by a rousing round of bingo! Gerry tended bar, and Lisa Brinkmann and Cathy V. tried their best to keep the balls in the cage, but sometimes they got away…The hall was decorated to the nines, and Lisa added to our festive theme with custom Kolping fortune cookies, Chinese coin purses for lucky bingo winners, and red envelopes for their good neighbors! Wonderful to see all who joined and those who donated to our raffle (Shirley Costanzo’s knitted blanket, Petra Stottmeiter’s homemade jam, et al.). Thanks to your kind raffle donations, we were able to donate to Kolping Ukraine. Click the Pix to see all of this month's winners....

This Wednesday, January 7th from 11:00 - 1:30, is KlubHaus, an opportunity to get out of the cold, gather with friends and even work on a few personal projects (or games.)

This Wednesday, Irene and Muffy have volunteered to lead us in creating our own Vision Boards for 2026. What better way of starting off the year than with a fun, creative project.

A vision board (or dream board) is a collage of images, words and symbols representing your goals and wishes, using inspirational photos, news clippings, and quotes. It’s social, creative and fun - all components necessary for good health.

We will supply all materials and have some light snacks.

We hope you join us. Feel free to bring a friend!

Wednesday night, Kolping SF embraced our inner artist and sipped our way through painting San Francisco. I'm sure each artist's interpretation of Van Gogh's Starry Night (over SF) is for sale - for the right price. Sotheby's has been calling me non-stop...

Well, this happened today. San Francisco Kolping kicked off their first 100 year celebration by participating in the San Francisco St Patrick's Day Parade! Thank you for all who made this event a success! And those we picked up along the way....and now you know why I was 'asked to leave' Anne Healy Dance Academy. - M
