High school and middle school students and athletes in the San Francisco Bay Area are invited to create and lead water awareness campaigns on their own campuses and clubs during the week of World Water Day, March 22, 2011. the free and healthy alternative flowing from our very own taps by -
• Holding a tap water vs. bottled water taste challenge
• Spreading the word to friends on Faceboo

• Asking friends and family to pledge to avoid buying bottled water
• Signing up local cafes to provide free water refills to the public
• Recruiting local restaurants to participate in the UNICEF Tap Project

Calling the purchasing of bottled water a waste of taxpayer money, the state of Vermont will join other states in phasing out its use in state buildings, in favor of tap water, officials said Tuesday.
