TAYSF was a policy initiative representing the city's most vulnerable youth.Transitional Youth are between the ages of 16-24 and have experienced various systems like foster care, juvenile justice etc. Transitional Age Youth San Francisco (TAYSF) is a community partnership works closely with public agencies, non-profit service providers, and young adults themselves. The goal of the initiative was

to create a coordinated system of supports in education, employment, health & wellness and housing services so that San Francisco’s 8,000 most vulnerable youth and young adults can enjoy a healthy transition to adulthood.

Our Story

Transitional Age Youth San Francisco (TAYSF) was a community partnership working closely with public agencies, non-profit service providers, and young adults themselves. The goal of the initiative was to create a coordinated system of supports in education, employment, health & wellness and housing services so that San Francisco’s 8,000 most vulnerable youth and young adults can enjoy a healthy transition to adulthood.
