Meet Karchan Darnal- our super star student, who is an all rounder academically and extra curricular activities, like table tennis, volleyball.

Kanchan's mother left her when she was only 3 years old, and is being raised by her grandfather, after her father remarried.

2025 visit- Hanging out with our students in Jhapa ! And distributing some new clothes this year.
This was made possible from our one-time donations received (outside of annual sponsorship) that help to elevate the program.

Overall, our program has a total of 32 students.
-24 students in Surya Jyoti English Medium School-Jhapa (Till 10th grade).
-2 senior students that finished schooling from Suryajyoti School and Nidi Secondary School are now doing their Bachelor's degree in local colleges.
-6 students in Jagat Sundar Bwonekuthi School- Kathmandu (Till 10th grade)

Home visits can really stir your soul !
Exploring additional students' need, and evaluating family matters.

Observing village homes' simple conditions, and evaluating learning resources for lights/ internet is tough. While photographing private areas inside their homes is tricky, knowing students' home conditions provides us with insight into their circumstances.
