Project by Project San Francisco Project by Project is a national 501(c)3 volunteer organization whose mission is to develop leaders PbP selects a different theme to champion from year to year.

Local chapters select a community-based non-profit organization that is focused on issues within that theme and tailors a year-long campaign to help its fundraising, community outreach and public awareness efforts.

[FUNDRAISING]
Our signature fundraising event is Plate by Plate, an annual tasting benefit featuring star chefs, top rated restaurants, and beverages from across the nation. 100% of the net proceeds raised from Plate by Plate are remitted to our partner organization.

[COMMUNITY OUTREACH]
PbP’s projects are designed in cooperation with our partner, usually in direct response to a community need, and range from discrete one-day activities to ongoing service commitments. Through this effort, members develop and hone in on their skills that they can then apply into other aspects of their professional and personal lives.

[PUBLIC AWARENESS]
PbP believes that empowerment cannot occur without an increased level of consciousness. The organization therefore strives to educate and bring about awareness to issues that impact the Asian American community.

[PROVIDING HUMAN CAPITAL]
Each campaign incorporates multiple components to channel attention and new capital to our partners’ efforts. Our human capital is our key strength, and our Committees, combined with decades of time- tested infrastructure, create solutions that best meet the needs of the community.

We’re excited to have San Francisco Bay Area trio Stray Violet joining us at this year’s Plate by Plate! 🥁🎤🎸🎶

Stray Violet is an indie pop and rock trio from the Bay Area, blending guitar, drums, electronic textures, and dynamic male-female vocals. Drawing inspiration from rock, pop, R&B, soul, jazz, and EDM, the band brings together the sounds that inspire them to create music that’s energetic, melodic, and distinctly their own.

🍣 Kaiyō SF is at the forefront of San Francisco’s Nikkei cuisine, with a rooftop bar and full-service restaurant in SoMa and a brand-new Handroll Bar on Union Street in Cow Hollow. Calling all Bay Area Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) artists‼️

Whether you paint, sculpt, design, or create in a medium all your own, this is your chance to share your story and support the AANHPI community at the Plate by Plate 2026 AANHPI Artist Showcase, hosted by Project by Project (PbP) - SF Chapter!

This showcase celebrates the creativity, culture, and impact of AANHPI artists, spotlighting work that reflects community, advocacy, cultural identity, social impact, and Bay Area history.

Selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their work during Plate by Plate where all funds raised will support all sides: the artists themselves, PbP, and our beneficiary partner, Charity Cultural Services Center!

There’s only limited artist spaces available, so make sure to apply ASAP to secure your space! We look forward to seeing your applications 🤩
