OPSCON was not built around a theme. It was built around a belief.

We believe the strongest operations teams in this industry are the ones built with diverse perspectives at the table, not as an afterthought, but as the actual strategy. That belief shapes every session, every speaker, and every conversation happening at OPSCON Atlanta on August 3 and 4.

This is not diversity as a talking point. It is diversity as the operational advantage it actually is, backed up by two days of real strategy, technology, and leadership content for the people running mortgage operations every day.

If that is the kind of room you want to be in, Atlanta is where it is happening.

Less than two weeks until OPSCON Atlanta and seats are going fast.

August 3 and 4 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Perimeter, we are bringing together operations, underwriting, and technology leaders for two days built entirely around the work that keeps this industry running. If your team has been meaning to register and just hasn't gotten to it yet, this is the nudge.

This is not an event that reruns next month in your city. If Atlanta works for your calendar, now is the time to lock it in.

Take a look around most mortgage industry events and the room skews heavily toward production and sales. OPSCON Atlanta looks different on purpose.

This room is underwriters, operations managers, fulfillment leaders, compliance teams, and the technology leaders building the tools they rely on every day. 200-plus people who rarely get an event built around them, in one place for two days.

That mix is exactly why the conversations here go deeper than the usual conference small talk. When everyone in the room is solving similar problems, the sessions turn into real working conversations instead of surface-level panels.

August 3 and 4, Hyatt Regency Atlanta Perimeter, Atlanta. If your team has never had a room like this built for them, now they do.

Everyone in mortgage is talking about AI. Almost nobody is being straight about what it's actually doing inside an operations team right now.

That changes at 𝗢𝗣𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮.

On 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟯 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟰 at the 𝗛𝘆𝗮𝘁𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗔𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿, one of our panels is going straight at this question with operations leaders who are actually running AI agents inside underwriting and servicing workflows today. Not a vendor demo. Not a future-state pitch. A real conversation about what is working, what is not, and what it means for your team over the next two years.

Pair that with live tech demos, a session on managing costs through smarter outsourcing, and keynotes from Tony Thompson and Christy Moss, CMB of FICO, and this is two days built for people who actually run mortgage operations, not just talk about it.

If your team is trying to figure out where AI actually fits in your operation, this is where that conversation is happening.

What is the one AI question you most want answered on that panel? Tell us in the comments and we will make sure it gets asked.

Quick question for anyone running an ops or underwriting team in mortgage right now.

When was the last time you sat in a room built entirely around solving your problems, not someone else's sales pipeline?

That is what OPSCON Atlanta is. From August 3 to 4 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Perimeter, we are bringing 200+ operations, underwriting, and technology leaders into one room for two days of real conversations about the work you actually do every day.

No filler. Tony Thompson opens with a keynote on where operations in mortgage and housing finance are headed next. Christy Moss, CMB of FICO brings a full market outlook on day two. Between them, live tech demos, a session on cutting costs through smarter outsourcing, and a straight talk panel on what AI agents are actually doing inside mortgage operations right now, no hype, no vendor pitch.

If your day-to-day is pipelines, risk, compliance, and being asked to do more with less, this was built for you.

Spots are limited and filling up. Who on your team needs to be in this room with you?

Most people know NAMMBA for our chapters, our events, and our members. Fewer know the work that happens behind those things.

Part of our mission is showing up where industry decisions actually get made, at the local, state, and national level of the Mortgage Bankers Association. That is not glamorous work. It is meetings, relationships, and advocacy built over years, not headlines.

We do it because representation in a boardroom matters just as much as representation on a loan application. Policies that shape who gets access to homeownership, who gets hired, and who gets promoted are being written whether or not our community has a seat at the table. We decided a long time ago that we were not going to leave that seat empty.

This is slower work than launching a new program or hosting a conference. It does not always show up in a membership number. But it is the reason the programs we do build have real staying power instead of being one-off wins.

Growth without a voice in the rooms that matter is not sustainable. We are building both.

What is one policy or industry decision you wish had more voices like ours in the room? Tell us in the comments.

For years, underwriting and operations professionals in mortgage banking have been an afterthought at industry events built around loan production and sales.

We built OPSCON to change that.

OPSCON is the only conference dedicated exclusively to underwriting and operations leaders in mortgage and housing finance. No sales pitches disguised as keynotes. No agenda built around production numbers. Just the people who run pipelines, manage risk, and keep operations moving, finally getting a room built around what they actually need.

High-impact keynotes from executives who understand the operations side of this business. Breakout sessions on underwriting best practices, workflow efficiency, automation, and compliance. Live technology demonstrations from the companies actually building the tools operations teams use every day.

We started this because we believe operational excellence is not a support function. It is a competitive advantage, and the professionals driving it deserve to be treated that way.

If you have never seen a conference built specifically for your team, now you have.
