***School Hip Hop Dance Residencies (Grades K-12) ***
We provide in-school, after-school, and community Hip Hop Dance Residencies with curriculums that adhere to the CA Visual and Performing Arts Standards. In each workshop, students experience the elements of dance and foundation of Hip Hop/Street Dance while developing the life skills of self-expression, commitment, and confidence. Lessons include group work, where students are challenged to effectively communicate, problem solve, and create as a community. The workshop culminates in an interactive, student performance where they present their creative work and celebrate their growth and success.
***School Lecture Demonstrations/Assemblies***
We provide vibrant, interactive lecture demonstrations that exhibit the rich history, artistry, and power of Hip Hop/Street dance. Students experience the breathtaking, soulful movements of internationally, acclaimed street dancers that inspire youth to apply self-expression, commitment, and confidence towards developing their passions and talents. Performances lead to group discussions that can cover topics such as individuality, diversity appreciation, community, healthy living, responsibility, careers, conflict resolution, acceptance, and community.
