We were honored to sing and drum at the Embassy of the Refugee event on Saturday. This historic event was a follow-up to Early Days statue taken down 6 years ago at the Civic Center Pioneer Monument. A ceremony to remember 535 years of colonialism of our people and our resilience. 535 prayer ties were tied to the gold colored scaffolding. Many BAAITS members had pictures taken on top of the pedestal after the statue was removed 6 years ago. Thank you cosechacolectiva.arte for organizing this amazing event!

We had a powerful gathering of 2Spirit community yesterday at the 2Spririt Powwow! We feel so grateful and honored to sing in community and honor our 2Spirit ancestors who guide our song and our medicine that we are able to share with so many. May this gathering continue to heal and bring joy to the hearts of all 2Spirit around the world, those who were able to join us in person, and those who were there in spirit. This medicine is for all of us ❤️
