✨This Friday, we’re throwing it back to MLK Weekend last year with our amazing volunteers and stakeholders at Glide for their daily free meals program ✨

Together, we served lunch to Glide’s community members and honored Dr. King’s legacy through service and solidarity. This day was a powerful reminder that change happens when we show up for our neighbors with dignity, care, and community.

📣 Want to join us? We’re heading back to Glide to volunteer again next Friday, January 16th, during lunch, and we’d love to have your help. Let’s keep putting our values into action together 🧡

A big thank you to all our amazing volunteers who joined us and at Lunch Club last month. We’re still looking for more volunteers to join us this upcoming Tuesday, November 11th for our next sandwich making session, link in bio to join us!

In times like these it’s so important to show up for each other. Every Wednesday and Sunday evening, we gather to make soup for our neighbors facing food insecurity and now, more than ever, it’s becoming more and more apparent that this is a huge issue facing our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and for our October 7th Unity Dinner and memorial gathering.

During this Sukkot season, a time when we build temporary structures and come together under one roof, we reflected on what it means to build and repair our communities, especially after times of pain and loss.

Rooted in the value of tikkun olam (repairing the world), we gathered as one united Jewish community across backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences to share, listen, and support one another.

May we continue to build structures of connection, compassion, and hope — together.

Yesterday was such a meaningful program with our friends together we felt grounded in the ideas of reflecting and restoring with one another this high holiday season. We connected as community, reflected on the newer tradition of Reverse Tashlich, and helped to repair our local beach one piece of trash at a time. We’re so grateful to our amazing volunteers for the care and heart they gave to the project, until next time ❤️

This past Sunday at our Reverse Tashlich with our friends we swapped tossing breadcrumbs for picking up litter at our local beach, proving that even in the San Francisco fog, our value of tikkun olam shines bright 🌟

🌸✨ Yesterday at Camp Tawonga’s Erev Rosh Hashanah program, families came together to roll native California wildflower seed balls - planting hope, beauty, and renewal for the year ahead. 🍯🍎 Wishing everyone a sweet, blossoming New Year filled with joy, connection, and growth. 🌼 Shanah Tovah! ✨

✨ Shabbat in the redwoods ✨
Last night, 24 of us from many different religions, cultures, and backgrounds gathered in the Oakland redwoods to share food, song, and connection. 🌲🍷🍞

The heart of Unity Dinner Shabbat is crossing lines of difference - finding common ground, building friendship, and celebrating community together. 💫
