Our next Pizza Farm! event is this coming Saturday, November 2nd from 1PM-3PM.

The Seagulls will be jamming out some rockin’ tunes. Gracie & Betty will be returning for a visit to sample some day old halloween carved pumpkins. There will be games and of course some tasty wood-fired pizzas to try.

You won’t want to miss out! Join us — just RSVP using the QR code or the link in our bio.

Pizza Farm! at SFUSD’s McAteer Campus Community Farm is a series of free public events featuring pizza making, performances, gardening, and sustainable culinary arts. With the farm’s newly restored wood-fired adobe pizza oven at the ready, Pizza Farm! brings us together to get cooking in the service of stewardship, knowledge sharing, camaraderie, and farm-to-fork sustainability.

Sponsored by FOSOTA / Friends of Ruth Asawa School of the Arts with funding from SF Parks Alliance, all events are free!

FOSOTA / Friends of Ruth Asawa School of the Arts has partnered with mural artist, Nico Berry, a 2023 California Arts Council Individual Established Artist Fellow, for a new mural project in SF. Sited alongside Woodside Drive in San Francisco, the project aims to transform a neglected urban corridor wall into a vibrant community mural championing arts education and honoring arts educators in San Francisco public schools.

We are currently seeking input from families, students, teachers, staff, and community members!

Please visit our website for additional information including the link to the nominate any stand-out SFUSD arts educators you would like to see depicted in the mural.

Nominations are open through Saturday, April 21, 2024.

For questions, please email us at [email protected]

A new public artwork will celebrate arts educators who have inspired our young people in the classroom and beyond.
