It's a chance for DeafPlus consumers and DSPs to reconnect and enjoy great food at Hops and Beans in Fremont from 5-8pm.

Job Seekers of Toolworks:
Shoutout to Eddie, a new groundskeeper at Oakland Zoo!

Hired two weeks ago, he spends his mornings tidying up the park before guests arrive and the animals wake up. His manager praises his enthusiasm, "He comes to work excited and ready to go—he can do anything!"

Eddie couldn't agree more, "I love it here. Stay wild!"

We are so proud to celebrate Caroline Krider!

She graduated from a one-year internship at Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Concord ( ). A year ago, interacting with customers and answering phones was challenging. And look at her now—greeting shoppers, answering calls, and engaging all who walk through the door, while still stocking, tagging, and merchandising!

Deaf Services was double-booked in the best way possible last Saturday! Clients joined two community Deaf Events: the DCARA 3rd Annual BBQ Cookout and Deaf Community Day at California's Great America.

Families, friends, and community members came together for food, fun rides, and strong connections. A huge thank you to our community partners for hosting these fantastic annual events, and to everyone at Deaf Services who helped make it happen!

July birthdays are making a splash! Deaf Services celebrated three milestones on July 19, teaming up with friends from the Deaf Plus Adult Community (DPAC) for a pool party bash.

That's what last Saturday's DCARA BBQ was all about. Toolworks was delighted to see so many familiar faces, meet new people, and just be together at John F. Baldwin Park in Concord. Thank you, Deaf Counseling Advocacy and Referral Agency, for hosting a time to connect and celebrate togetherness.
