OUR PURPOSE

The San Francisco Alliance of Black School Educators is an Alliance of Educators from diverse fields, affiliated with the National Alliance of Black School Educators. This organization is dedicated to facilitating the educational growth and attainment of skills by African American students in order to ensure their academic success. The Alliance will serve as an organization for commun

ication and dissemination of research that will facilitate the goals of the organization. OUR GOAL

The goal of the organization is to improve the quality of educational experiences and accomplishments of African American students, parents, and staff and ways which will ultimately lead to a higher quality of life and standard of living including the preservation of African-American history and culture. This organization's endeavor is to “Make education the number one priority in the African American community.”


Our Roots

Here at SFABSE.org, we know that sometimes all it takes to change the world is a little support. The San Francisco Alliance of Black Educators received its charter at the NABSE Conference in Chicago, IL in 1977. The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in. Through all of our endeavors, we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.
