We are proud to announce the launch of two new international subspecialty examinations in Retina and Glaucoma, with the first sitting taking place in March 2027.

Designed to be high-quality, internationally benchmarked assessments, these new examinations are aligned with the AAO BCSC curriculum and underpinned by robust standard-setting methodologies to ensure fairness, validity, and academic excellence.

Candidates will have the opportunity to:

(In case you missed it), the Ophthalmology Foundation has announced an important policy update for future applicants to OF–IOFF Fellowship programs.

Starting with the 31 August 2027 fellowship application deadline, candidates will need to pass the Ophthalmology Foundation (OF) Examinations before submitting their fellowship applications.

This requirement will apply to all OF–IOFF subspecialty fellowship positions beginning with the September 2027 intake and beyond.

The OF Examinations are offered online twice annually, in March and September, at local testing centers worldwide.
