The cost of living in San Francisco continues to put basic necessities out of reach for many youth and families. According to and the United Ways of California Real Cost Measure, more than 1 in 4 Bay Area households struggle to afford basic necessities, including housing, food, transportation, health care, and childcare.
That's why we're excited to share that our new Family Resource Center is opening soon—a welcoming space designed to help youth and families access everyday essentials when they need them most.
To prepare for opening day, we're asking our community to help us stock the shelves.
We're currently accepting donations of new or gently used:
🧸 Toys, books, and educational materials
🍼 Baby essentials (formula, bottles, diapers, wipes)
👕 Baby, children's, and maternity clothing
🧴 Baby care and feminine hygiene products
🎒 School supplies, backpacks, and everyday essentials
🛒 Gift cards for groceries, gas, and other necessities
📍 Drop-off Location: 1929 Market Street
📅 Monday–Thursday | 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Every donation helps create a welcoming, supportive space where youth and families can access the resources they need to thrive.
