Small details can make a big difference, especially for patients and families in our NICU. At Sutter’s CPMC, we're teaming up with nonprofit Once Upon a Room to transform NICU patient rooms with personalized decor that brings comfort and joy during long hospital stays. From Stitch themed decor to hand ironed, customized pillows, and dozens of volunteers recently came together to turn hospital rooms into welcoming, uplifting spaces.

The official launch? A total touchdown! 🏈

We kicked off our partnership as the San Francisco 49ers official healthcare partner. We loved celebrating with along with the Niners, and our mascots Sourdough Sam and River the Sea Lion.

At Sutter’s CPMC, more than 200 people attended the hospital's first Colorectal Cancer Awareness Fair. From a walk through a giant inflatable colon to meaningful conversations with care teams, the message was clear: screening can catch colon cancer early.

New Alzheimer's treatments are offering hope, but access remains a challenge. At Sutter, the Ray Dolby Brain Health Center is helping change that.

Through a board of cognitive neurology specialists who review and approve patients for treatment, Sutter is expanding access to advanced Alzheimer’s therapies across our system. This coordinated approach is helping more patients receive the latest groundbreaking medications that may help slow the progression of the disease.

Big milestone for surgical innovation at Sutter!

Surgeons at Sutter’s California Pacific Medical Center and Sutter’s Alta Bates Summit Medical Center recently completed their first urological surgeries using a single incision with the da Vinci Single-Port robotic system. This advanced robotic technology allows surgeons to perform complex procedures through one small, single opening rather than multiple incisions. For patients, that may mean less pain, faster recovery and better health outcomes.
