It’s no secret my friends and I have a little thing about pranks. They’re fun to plan, better to hash out, and the best when they actually work. Well, I’m a senior, and it’s a known thing among American high schools that you prank your principal when you hit senior year.

Episode 14 : I Ruined My Own Surprise Party | Skylar Story

I’ve always been good with surprises. I love them! What I don’t like is secrets. Now I know what you’re probably thinking, don’t those two go hand in hand? I’m here to tell you that is incorrect. Secrets are when you are hiding something from someone, a surprise is when you’re just not telling someone so they can be shocked about the outcome. Ok I guess that’s basically a secret.

Episode 13: How I Blew Up My Science Class

We all know of Mr. Blockner by now. The whole reason he went on his long journey in hating me, was from one simple mistake that I made. Well I say it was simple, but I guess I did end up setting my table on a fire, but it was a small fire. Super tiny, but I did totally wreck my lab table. Yeah, I’m starting to see why he might have disliked me, but again, he shouldn’t have thrown that pencil at my face.

Episode 12: My Friends Hid Me In A Basement

This year, I got a teacher fired. He didn’t like me at all. In fact, he got fired because he threw a pencil at my face. It sounds puny, but trust me, it was dramatic at that moment. Anyway, after he had to pack away his unjust teaching career in boxes and went off on his merry way, I thought I wouldn’t even have to say his name if I didn’t want to. The universe, and of course my friends, seemed to have other ideas.

Episode 11: I Pranked Myself Out Of A Relationship

I have always been a pretty good kid, but sometimes, it’s just too fun to mess with people. I have 2 brothers, I’m always used to getting messed with. Pranks in our house are constant, and so that has just become a part of me.
Some people think the pranks are funny, mostly my friends. Others, not so much. My boyf-wait...no...ex boyfriend now, didn’t. In fact, he actually dumped me because of it.

Episode 10: The Most Stressful Day Of My Life

It’s my senior year. Well, it’s actually the end of my senior year. I honestly can't say high school was terrible. I definitely did a lot. Some things I loved, other things I’ll deeply regret, and through all the difficult days, and long sleepless nights, I was proud of myself for making it this far. I watched my cap fly in the air with the rest of the students. All of us cheering, and crying, and ready for a new beginning.

Episode 9: I Lost My Family In Another Country

We remember when I admitted to my parents I wanted to go overseas right? How it went surprisingly well in the end, and they agreed to work with me on it?
Well, it’s officially summer vacation now, and only a week into the break, my family had to hop on a plan. We were heading into Europe, and we were going to be there for the next month traveling. I honestly had been counting down for this vacation since I found out we were going. I couldn’t want to look around new cities, hear new languages, and soak in a whole new culture.

Episode 8 My Parents Are Disappointed In Me

Here’s something you guys probably didn’t know about me. I’m a middle child. Though, you probably wouldn’t realize it by looking at me. I have two brothers. My oldest brother is in medical school. He was going to be a surgeon. My parents were over the moon when they found out. And, they don’t stop talking about him to anyone ever. I’m super proud of him and all, but I’m also annoyed. He made the standard I was supposed to be at so hard to reach!

Episode 7: I Accidentally Got Into A Fight

We all know Michael. He was the guy I liked to stare at in class, the guy I could barely function around, also the guy that my friends told I liked him. Well, I’ve been very fortunate. Now, he’s my boyfriend. I couldn’t be happier with that fact. I’m learning how to be in a relationship with someone, and I’m very lucky to be in a relationship with him. The one thing I just wish came with a warning sticker was how overprotective I was going to be getting over him, and definitely vise versa.

I love going to the beach. It’s one of my favorite vacation spots. The sound of the ocean waves. The smell of salt in the air. The sand and cute little beach towns. It’s even more fun when you’re going out with friends.
