From Homeless to Homeowner Meet Jenn

Jenn Oakley is the very first person to become a homeowner through the First Home Emeryville program. Her journey is nothing short of inspiring.

After 9 years of experiencing homelessness, Jenn got to work. In just 4.5 years, she built her credit, grew her income, and held onto her belief that owning a home was possible.
With support from Hello Housing, her agent, and a lender who went the extra mile, Jenn made it happen. Today, she’s holding the keys to a place of her own.
