La Raza Centro Legal is a non-profit community law center dedicated to empowering Latino, immigrant and low-income communities of San Francisco.

La Raza Centro Legal has provided free legal services, community organizing and advocacy since 1973 to low-income, indigenous, immigrant, and Latino residents of the San Francisco Bay Area. La Raza Centro Legal has a long history of achieving social change by going beyond the traditional methods of legal representation. LRCL focuses its advocacy efforts and leadership development on members of our

community who would otherwise be unable to exercise their rights due to economic and language barriers.

This past Friday, we celebrated our summer law clerks as they wrapped up their internship with us! 🎉 They worked across our four legal programs, Affirmative Immigration, Removal Defense Immigration, Workers’ Rights, and Elder & Disability. Today we announce the appointment of Director!
Hoy anunciamos el nombramiento de Hillary Ronen como nuestra nueva Directora Ejecutiva.
Ronen, graduada de la Facultad de Derecho de UC Berkeley, ex supervisora del Distrito 9 y exalumna de LRCL, aporta una combinación de defensa legal sobre el terreno y dos décadas de servicio público electo al puesto. A partir del 1 de agosto de 2026, dirigirá los programas de LRCL en cuatro áreas principales: Inmigración Afirmativa, Defensa de Eliminación de Inmigración, Derechos de los Trabajadores y Ley de Ancianos y Discapacidad.
