A wonderful start to something new at Martin Luther Tower. đź’›

We recently held our first gathering of "Conversations on Growing Older: How Did This Happen?", a new monthly discussion group presented in partnership with NEXT Village SF and District 2 University (D2U).

This group creates space for residents to come together, share experiences, reflect on the realities of aging, and talk openly about the joys, challenges, surprises, and changes that come with growing older.

We’re grateful to NEXT Village SF and D2U for helping create this opportunity, and to everyone who joined us for our first conversation. We’re looking forward to seeing these thoughtful conversations and connections continue each month.

Another successful year of Circus on the Square

We had families, friends, neighbors, and residents of all ages come together for an afternoon full of laughter, smiles, and a lot of fun. Seeing children enjoying the activities, families spending time together, and so many familiar and new faces gathered in one place made the day even more special.

Circus on the Square may only happen once a year, but it's always a great reminder of what makes our intergenerational community so special: people of all generations coming together, connecting, and simply enjoying each other's company.

A huge thank to Circus Bella for bringing such an incredible performance to our intergenerational community. From the laughter and applause to the moments of pure amazement, you filled The Square with joy, energy, and smiles from beginning to end.

It was especially meaningful to see residents, families, children, friends and neighbors sharing the experience together. Performances like this bring generations together, and remind us how powerful a shared moment of joy can be.

Thank you, Circus Bella, for helping make our intergeneration community feel even more vibrant, connected and full of life.

More care, right here in our community! We recently launched a monthly Food Care Day with Gloria Escalona, RN, one of several new services we’ve added this year to support our residents’ health, comfort, and well-being.

Our latest Food Care Day was fully booked! We were delighted to see so many residents take advantage of the appointments and leave feeling cared for. We’re excited to make this service a regular part of life at Martin Luther Tower.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the Food Care Day a success. And special thanks to Gloria Escalona for bringing her expertise, kindness, and care to our community!
