Over the past year, these six leaders have walked alongside their communities as they developed an intersectional justice project. The ELCA’s Building Resilient Leadership program (BRL), just wrapped up its first pilot cohort.

Over the course of 12 months, BRL participants further develop leadership skills through the creation of a justice project embedded in their communities, community organizing training, and peer mentoring.

This virtual event celebrates their accomplishments! Each of our six participants will tell the story of their learnings and their challenges. We hope you can join us.

⚾️ A huge thank you to the San Francisco Giants for donating tickets to our Martin Luther Tower residents! We had an incredible time watching the Giants beat the Rockies last Saturday, and the Aloha shirts made the day even more special.

Together, we took an important step toward creating a greener, more climate-resilient space for our residents, pollinators, and community.
