VSA at UCSF is an all-inclusive student organization that engages our community with a rich and multi-faceted view of Vietnamese culture through cultural events and aims to address health disparities by providing a source of health education.

Lunar New Year is only a few weeks away! Join VSA on Friday Feb 2nd, 2024 as we celebrate the arrival of the Year of the Dragon with games, food and festivities! Indulge in traditional Vietnamese cuisine while you mingle with other UCSF students and learn more about Vietnamese culture. We can’t wait to see you there!

Please RSVP for the event on group portal. The Lunar New Year Celebration is open to all UCSF students, faculty and staff!

We are still looking for performers to share their talents with the community. If you are interested, please sign up on the google form linked in the image above.

VSA is an interprofessional organization that strives to promote and celebrate cultural diversity at UCSF through campus events such as lunch talks, collaborations with other student organizations, our Vietnamese Medical Language Elective, and more!

Chuc Mung Nam Moi and Happy Year of the Rabbit! Come join VSA in celebrating the Vietnamese New Year! We will have a special lion dance performance, boba + Vietnamese food+ dessert, and a photo booth so you can capture the memories!

Hi everyone! Are you interested in learning Vietnamese medical terminology? Want to brush up on those language skills before rotations? Join the Vietnamese Language Elective this Fall! We welcome learners of ALL levels of Vietnamese proficiency, so come by and learn Vietnamese with us! This is a great way to learn and practice terminology that you can use in everyday patient encounters and connect with Vietnamese culture.

Date: Mondays, October 3rd to November 28th
Time: 5:30-6:30PM
Location: Zoom (tinyurl.com/vietelective2022)
Units: 1.0
