Why workers chose to form a Union.

An agent sent me this link today as a reminder of why the agents at AAANCNU contacted the Teamsters and formed a Union back in 2021.

It has been a long and frustrating 5 years. The struggle is ongoing and will continue as long as it takes to get you agents the justice and respect you deserve in the workplace.

But as long as the struggle has existed, your compensation structure has remained intact. The company's prior habit of rolling out reductions in compensation on a yearly basis has remained blocked.

B agents remain disadvantaged and I won't hide from that, you all deserve better, but who thinks that without you Union you would be making more today?

I am attaching some historical comp plans below so you can review and recall the history that brought us to this point.

Let's never lose focus on why we are where we are.

p.s. If anyone has the 2011 comp plan I would love to have a copy for my records!

p.p.s. Any life agent comp plans would be nice to have as well. I only have what the membership has provided me.

AAA broke labor law after workers unionized — federal judge says so.

After 4 years and 15 charges, the ruling is in — involving the fight by Teamsters Local 665 to secure workers’ rights.

Workers were right to speak up.

Important update

An email was sent out that we have a meeting tonight March 10th The date got mixed up on the email. The meeting is tomorrow, March 11th at 7pm.

This is a great meeting to attend. A decision has been handed down on several parts of the case mostly in our favor.

July 23rd meeting postponed.

Because:

Judge granted an extension to the parties to allow briefs to be turned in by the 25th. At our next meeting we should plan on reviewing these briefs that were previously due the 11th of July.

More info of new meeting date soon.
