Last weekend, Shark Stewards partnered with Groundswell Community Project, a women lead surf therapy non-profit organization, to host a intention setting circle before setting out on a beach clean-up at Aquatic Park👏

This past February, Third Space hosted a fashion show at 2051 Market St. - an event that featured 12 local designers and was open to all!🙌

Thirdspace is a community born out of a need for connection, that uses art as a vehicle for conversation. They host art exhibitions, pop-ups, community events, cross-cultural conversations, and more!🎨

Grantees Assemble🙌!
This past Monday the current cohort of our Action Award grant recipients gathered at a reception celebrating their work. It was an opportunity for everyone to meet 🤝, share stories, and learn about other neighborhoods.

It was an inspiring afternoon meeting residents, most of whom have full time jobs on top of their community work, express their excitement around building community in their corners of the City. 😊💪🏼

Action Awards Grantee Highlight : and the Calibird Pollinator Sanctuary🌺🌿🌱

Calibird Pollinator Sanctuary in the Bayview neighborhood hosted 'Connection Collaboration and Survival in the Natural World' - an event that brought nearly 60 members of the community together for an afternoon of plant education, music and food. 🌿🎧🌯

is a nonprofit organization all about revitalizing community gardens, providing education about the natural world, and bringing people of all backgrounds together.

Bayview Basketball and Bites! 🏀Action Awards Grantee Highlight✨

hosted a park social at Youngblood-Coleman Playground with participants of all ages there to play basketball, softball, and take a swing on the swingset.
•
Bites were provided by and smiles provided by the community. 🙂🤝

One year ago our ‘Love Letters to SF’ traveling art installation made its debut at the annual Civic Center Holiday Tree Lighting.🤩🎄
