Alcatraz Cruises workers need your support! We’ve been fighting for a fair contract for two years. In response to alleged violations of Federal labor laws by their employer, workers have participated in Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) Strikes. As workers have struck to keep their employer in check, their wage losses have mounted.

Yesterday, Alcatraz Cruises workers stood up and went on ULP strike! We will keep fighting until we win! A massive thank you to everyone who stood with us, our ILWU brothers and sisters, Supervisors Aaron Peskin and Dean Preston, the Rich City Rays, and every customer that demanded a refund and stood with workers!

Workers at Alcatraz Cruises are going on ULP Strike on Saturday 7/13/24! Workers have been fighting for a contract for nearly two years. Instead of providing the area standard and living wages for all workers, the company instead has continued to violate labor law.

Workers will be on strike starting at 7am and going until 10pm. We will be holding rallies at 11am and 4:30pm.

One day after the city of San Francisco voted to stand with Alcatraz Cruises workers, Alcatraz Cruises is hiring strikebreakers.

Alcatraz Cruises is posting “on-call” jobs on Indeed.com “in anticipation of a possible labor dispute.”

Alcatraz Cruises should listen to their workers and the City of San Francisco instead of hiring strikebreakers!

“Alcatraz has 1.7 million visitors per year, at $45 per ticket. This company can afford to pay every single one of its workers a living wage.” Today, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors passed a resolution calling on Alcatraz Cruises to finally reach a fair union contract with its workers. San Francisco is a Union Town! Thank you Supervisors Aaron Peskin and Hillary Ronen for cosponsoring this resolution!
