Gardens of Golden Gate Park is a public/private partnership between the San Francisco Recreation & Park Department and the San Francisco Botanical Garden Society (a nonprofit 501c3 organization doing business as the “Gardens of Golden Gate Park”) to jointly operate the Conservatory of Flowers, Japanese Tea Garden, and San Francisco Botanical Garden.

Celebrate BonPOP's 5th anniversary, Sunday, August 30, 2-6pm at the San Francisco Botanical Garden! BonPOP is a re-imagined Bon Odori event that welcomes everyone to experience the rich Japanese tradition of remembering loved ones through dance, song, and rituals.

Enjoy performances from local Japantown artists and cultural practitioners and shop over 25 vendors at the BonPOP marketplace. 🌸

🎟️ BonPOP is free with general admission to the Botanical Garden, get your tickets.

By popular request, Bean Sprouts is continuing through August and September in the Children’s Garden! 🌱 Bring your little ones to enjoy hands-on activities and explore the recent Garden improvements by our incredible high school Garden Interns.

📆 Bean Sprouts takes place Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10am-12pm through September.
Please note: There will be no Bean Sprouts on August 25, 27 and September 15 and 17.
