Voters need to stop giving power to BULLIES: No on K
***Friends/ San Franciscans: The bullies referred to above and described below keep demanding the removal of No on K posts from social media. It is in fact, one of their bullying tactics. (I am not calling them bullies, I am using their own language of how they get what they want). This post was removed and reinstated when I pointed out that it's not calling them names when quoting their own words. Now been taken down again - they are relentless in their campaign to silence the opposition, because they can't win on the merits. PLEASE SHARE THIS INFO... Original post pasted with a smattering of the 80+ comments...
Voters need to stop giving power to BULLIES: No on K
Many don't realize yet that there is a coordinated effort to turn SF into a very different city. The "urbanists" think they know better than everyone else (I've actually had one of them say to me “he didn't care if people didn't like urbanist plans, he's smarter and it was his job to drag less intelligent people to his vision,” yes, incredibly arrogant).
They are also bullies. Plain and simple. And they admit to it. See screenshot below, which I luckily captured before Adam asked for his name to be scrubbed from the article. See article, including the note about taking the bully’s name off.
This group of bullies has become very well organized, they unfortunately put a majority on the DCCC (so ignore DCCC endorsements, have you seen them yet? “Dems for Change” is a total joke, they sole endorsed Breed who has a 27% approval rating) and are trying to get bike bros elected this cycle, so that they will control the Board of Supervisors in January. They already have Breed in their pocket, they are working to get the following “urbanists” elected:
D3: Sauter, D5: Mahmood, D7: Melgar.
Shout from the rooftops not to vote for these people.
And for goodness sake, vote NO on K.
See screenshots at bottom.

When dealing with bullies we need to be "up standers." Bullying is so low it is dangerous, we have to call it out. They win by silencing opposition. We need to speak out.

I posted this already. I met someone last week who has a job with Rec & Park. He was a pretty mellow guy. Anyway, he said park and rec has no plan or intention of building a park on the great highway. It’s just the city wanting to dump responsibility for the area. I’m voting no.

thank you for sharing the truth. Please please please share and send people to Nopropk.com to help.
The propk campaign is very well funded. There will be plenty of mailers, commercials etc coming out soon. We need everyone talking to their neighbors telling the truth about prop K and the unfunded openspace they are calling a park.

I personally think with all of the misinformation and confusion around this Proposition, it should have been left off of the ballot until voters had a much clearer sense of the impact and actual intentions behind this. The "it's bad" vs. "it's good" arguments hold no water IMO.
Of all of the major issues our city faces, I think this is one divisive issue the citizens of SF don't need right now.

Could not agree more. And all people really need to do is read the actual legal text. There's no park.
All the talk about a park & improving other streets is just a sales pitch with no actual impact. (And no $$).

Does anybody remember when the bicyclists blocked the Great Highway when people are commuting on it.
It also looks like Adam Egelman was also participating in blocking traffic on Great Highway.

The “slow” streets, closed JFK drive and now GH is a preview of what to come next.
If we don’t get rid of Tumlin and nip it in a bud, they will close more streets.

The street rebel group is nuts. They have a group to pester Waymo with cones. Another to slow traffic just to annoy folks.
