Enterprise for Youth

Enterprise for Youth We empower under-resourced youth to reach their potential through paid internship experiences.

Enterprise for Youth is a citywide school-to-work/youth development agency that guides youth to find and retain jobs, to be trained and engage in experiential learning, and to explore career interests. We serve young people residing in every zip code and planning district in San Francisco, ages 14-24, who attend public and independent schools. We partner with employers, corporations, community org

anizations, and volunteers. These partnerships are crucial in creating meaning work opportunities for our youth.

Heroes at Work 2026 🌟

This is what it looks like when a community shows up. Not just for a night, but for young people stepping into their first opportunities, first paychecks, and first moments of feeling seen and supported.

So much gratitude to our youth speakers for sharing their stories, and to all of our guests, sponsors, and supporters who helped bring this night to life. Grateful to be part of something that’s building real support systems together!

🎉 We’re excited to share that Enterprise for Youth has been awarded a grant from the Community Challenge Grants (CCG)! 🌱

In 2026, we’ll activate 60 interns to lead environmental projects across Heron’s Head Park, Crocker Amazon Park, and McLaren Park, transforming public spaces while building career pathways.

Through this investment:
💚 Young people will earn over $100,000 in wages
🌿 Public spaces will become safer, greener, and more inclusive
🌎 Youth will gain hands-on experience in climate and environmental careers

This grant not only creates paid opportunities for local youth, but also strengthens our neighborhoods and builds the next generation of environmental leaders.

We’re grateful to the Community Challenge Grants program for believing in the power of young people to shape a more sustainable and equitable San Francisco.
