Our Mission
At the SFSBC, our mission is to represent and campaign for the interests of small business operators and their workforce in San Francisco. We believe that small businesses are the backbone of the local economy and deserve to be heard. Through advocacy, education, marketing, and community connections, we aim to amplify the influence of the small business sector and drive the creation of

pragmatic laws and policies that secure the welfare, safety, and financial independence of our community.

Please review the SFMTA project and support the Valencia Street businesses and adjacent neighbors. We need safe accessibility for bikes, scooters, vehicles, and delivery trucks to and from Valencia Street and other business districts. The current plan restricts access to storefronts and turns the middle of the Mission into a raceway. We require a secure pathway for both safe passage and commercial activities in the Mission. Fair access should be granted to all, rather than just a select few. Let's not allow this project to divide us; instead, let it bring us together for a better San Francisco that benefits both businesses and the neighborhoods they serve. We need to attract more visitors from outside the city to support our local businesses. Thank you San Francisco Neighbors and voters!

Priority Agenda for SFSBC's Meeting with Supervisors:

1. Crime reduction
2. Cleaner streets in merchant districts and neighborhoods
3. Addressing health and safety concerns around unlicensed street vending
4. Streamlining permitting process for businesses
5. Ensuring safe ingress and egress for people, vehicles, and delivery trucks affected by MTA projects through open and transparent collaboration. (Parklet’s in merchant districts to enhance public gathering spaces).🚦🚛🏙️
