For children in Kyiv, an ordinary school day can be interrupted by an air raid alert at any moment.
During a return to her hometown, Striving For All Co-Founder Olena Baykur visited a public school where SFA completed a bomb shelter and helped establish a smart classroom.
Inside the shelter, paintings created by students and messages such as “Never give up” bring color and courage into a space made necessary by war. Donated laptops help children remain connected to learning and continue preparing for their futures.
A shelter cannot end a war, but it can help keep children safer. A laptop cannot remove fear, but it can keep education within reach.
