Do you know where [good] food comes from? For those of us in California, most of it comes from within 200 miles of where we call home.
There’s an intricate and delicate relationship between the food that nourishes us, the stewardship of our environment, and our choices as consumers. Our local restaurants also rely on—and sustain—our local food she’s with regular orders as well as experimentation with more niche or sensitive crops.
For our third round of grant making, we’re extending our reach to support not just restaurants, but the farmers, cheese makers, ranchers, bakers, wine makers, etc. who they source from🤌🏼
