David Vedon is one of the Co-Founders as well as the Lead editing, & cinematography instructor for LAYOM Arts & Media.

David is the perfect example of what the San Fernando Valley has to offer. He began his love affair with cinema at the age of 14 when he joined his high school's AV club. There, he learned how to film, but most importantly how to edit. He received many praises from teachers and peers.

It wasn't until 2007, that David walked into YO! Valley's doors.

YO! Valley's Media program was able to allow Vedon the ability to unleash his true potential. While most teenagers his age were having fun on summer break, David was busy becoming a Certified Apple Final Cut Pro editor.

It is his tenacious attention to detail, and commitment to quality that has launched him into the editing bays of Spanish Soap Operas, Shorts, Music Videos, and Feature Films.

David Vedon has been a valued asset to the LAYOM Arts & Media team, and his "can do" attitude is beyond compare.
