Mutual Faith Ministries

Mutual Faith Ministries Each team operates autonomously, yet works in fellowship and under the direction of the USA International office.

Founded in 1984 by Keith & Heidi Hershey, MFMI was raised up to help people join their faith to increase dynamic life-giving assistance in the nations of the world. With the international office in Mission Hills, CA, Mutual Faith Ministries also helps raise up missionaries and leaders to spearhead regional and national offices around the world. Each team has different functions and ministry expres

sions, based on the calling and gifting of the local leadership, as well as the needs of individual communities and nations. Presently, MFMI has regional offices in Costa Rica, the Philippines, Nigeria, Ghana, Ivory Coast, and Lebanon. Keith and Heidi Hershey have always had a heart to assist national leaders. Because of this, MFMI continues to connect relationally with Pastors and leaders from the entire spectrum of the Christian community with mentoring and training including seminars, conferences, and Life Leadership Institutes. Through this relational equipping, MFMI is able to bring training to lay leaders within churches and assist in raising up the new, young generation for the ministerial leadership in the Kingdom of God. In order to effectively connect and communicate in developing nations around the world, Mutual Faith Ministries has established regional Mission Centers. A Mission Center is a facility with local national leadership and is a neutral place where pastors and leaders can connect and grow. These Mission Centers hosts conferences, seminars, and LLI training.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been praying for us following the powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck our region on June 8.

The earthquake caused widespread fear and destruction across many areas of Mindanao. For the past days, many communities, including parts of General Santos City, experienced no electricity and no water for about two days, and even now, some areas are still without these basic necessities as recovery continues.

By God’s grace, our Mutual Faith Philippines Mission Center, Victory Court, Victory Lane, and Life Home Orphanage did not sustain major structural damage. However, the earthquake still caused significant losses within our facilities. Computers, printers, and other equipment in the Mission Center were thrown from their places and damaged by the strong shaking. Our aquarium was also destroyed when it fell during the earthquake, resulting in the loss of the fish it contained.

Our Life Center was not spared and sustained damage that will require repair and restoration in the coming days.

Despite the destruction, our hearts are filled with gratitude because every person on our campus is safe, especially the precious children of Life Home Orphanage. In the midst of a devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake, God protected every life entrusted to our care.

At this time, we are still trying to establish contact with our branch church in Glan, Sarangani, which was also affected by the earthquake. We humbly ask for your continued prayers for their safety and for all families and communities impacted by this disaster.

Some photos included in this post show earthquake damage in General Santos City and surrounding areas, used for context. Photo credits to the respective owners.

Thank you to everyone around the world who has prayed, encouraged us, and stood with us during these difficult days. Though buildings and equipment can be replaced, lives cannot. We praise God for His protection and trust Him to provide what is needed for rebuilding and recovery.

"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." – Psalm 46:1

Some summers create memories, but this summer created smiles, hope, and beautiful moments that our hearts will never forget. ❤️

As our last summer activity at Life Home Orphanage comes to an end, we are grateful for every laughter shared and every experience our children were able to enjoy. From their exciting swimming adventure and mini zoo tour where their eyes were filled with wonder, to receiving eye check-ups that care for their health and future, and finally taking their pre-assessment tests as they prepare for another school year ahead.

These children may not always have everything they wish for, but seeing their genuine smiles reminds us that love, care, and opportunities can mean the world to them. Every happy moment matters. Every child deserves to be seen, cared for, and given a chance to dream.

To everyone who continues to support and love our Life Home family — thank you for being part of these little victories and beautiful memories. ❤️

Here's to new beginnings, brighter futures, and dreams waiting to unfold. 🌈✨📚🏊🐾

Today is a beautiful and emotional milestone for Life Home Orphanage. ❤️

Our very first Super Kid, Elben — who was also the very first child welcomed into Life Home — has officially graduated from college today! 🎓✨

He finished his Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, and we couldn’t be more proud of the young man he has become. From humble beginnings to this incredible achievement, Elben’s journey is a testimony of God’s faithfulness, love, and grace.

We are deeply thankful to everyone who prayed, supported, encouraged, and believed in him throughout the years. Your kindness and generosity became part of this success story. Because of your love, hope was planted, and dreams became possible.

Above all, we thank God for His unending love and guidance every step of the way. This graduation is not only Elben’s victory, but also a reminder that with God, prayer, and a loving community, lives can truly be transformed.

Congratulations, Elben! Your Life Home family loves you and celebrates you today and always. ❤️🎓
