Join Visit El Paso this week on Friday, June 19 at 10:30 AM at the Old County Jail Museum for a FREE 3D Mission Building Workshop led by artist Maria A. Natividad.

Participants will construct a three-dimensional scale model of the historic San Elizario Chapel while learning foundational model-making techniques, architectural details, and the inspiration behind the original design. No experience is necessary, all materials will be provided, and you’ll leave with a completed mission model to display and treasure.

From 4PM to 8 PM, join us for a small ceremony on our newest exhibit, "From Stone to Table: Molcajete and Metate," followed by a fiesta with music by Rodriga Rockmore. 🎶

During our Salsa Fest, you will be able to taste and vote for the best salsa and spiciest salsa! 🔥

Looking for the perfect Sunday plans? Join us on the 2nd Sunday of each month for a guided walking tour of our most iconic historical landmarks!

Led by local guide, you’ll journey through 400 years of history— of 1598 and the Spanish Presidio to the legendary tales of the Old County Jail and Billy the Kid. 🐎📜

How to Find Us: We are located right in the heart of the San Elizario Historic District, directly across the plaza from the historic Presidio Chapel (look for the large white church). Just look for the long, historic adobe building with the covered front porch!

Parking: FREE parking is available along the public streets surrounding the plaza. Overflow parking is also generously permitted at the adjacent Chapel parking lot. 🚘

Share your garden with other plant lovers! 🪴

⏰ 12 PM to 2 PM

All ages are welcome to this event! From baby gardeners to experts, bring a plant, such as flowers, fruit plants, and more, to trade with other plant lovers. 🪴

For $5, paint a pot to hold your new plants! This ticket includes materials and a ceramic pot.

Stay for the whole event, as there will be a raffle to win a mystery tree and a mystery plant. $1 tickets are used as entries into the raffle. Ticket=entry, more entries=higher chance of winning!

Extra costs will be purchased in person w/ cash or card.
