San Dimas Little League

San Dimas Little League SDLL was established in 1957 and is chartered by Little League International. The year was 1957. Families had big gas-guzzling cars. And the L.A.

Television was black and white, you burned your trash in your back yard incinerator on trash day, and hung your wash and the baby’s clothe diapers on lines to dry on the day after so they wouldn’t get ashes on them. Freeways hadn’t reached San Dimas yet. Dodgers were still in Brooklyn. Ekstrand School was just being built and Via Verde was still grassy hillsides. This field at Marchant Park became

San Dimas’ Field of Dreams in the spring of 1957. There were no A’s, or Giants or Dodgers that year, instead the four teams (one division for all kids aged 8 – 12) were named after their sponsors. Bob’s Market played San Dimas Diary after San Dimas Feed and Grain played American Legion.

We will work with the city to reevaluate the field conditions on Tuesday and keep you posted.

Fields are closed…. It’s still raining. 🌧️

We’re hoping it clears up mid week and we have time to prep the fields for next Sunday’s games.
The league will be working with the city to evaluate safety and field readiness.

We’ll do everything in our power to play our last fall games. Sadly, don’t have the power to control the rain 🌧️.

Please feel free to do some rain dancing to help us out 😆.

📣 Just announced, San Dimas Little League we be providing a FREE CLINIC for all SDLL players who registered before December 8………

💯 SDLL is fully committed to improving our player’s experience and development.

⭐️ We have again partnered with our local baseball professionals who bring their years of expertise and knowledge to our field.

➡️ On December 13, 2025 we will be providing the additional support and development our players deserve. This “FREE” clinic is exclusively for SDLL players looking to take their skills to the next level.

⚾️ We will be providing professional training in BATTING, FIELDING, PITCHING & CATCHING.

😁 All SDLL players who register for the Spring Season before December 8 will automatically be invited to this free clinic.
