The Brothers of San Dimas Masonic Lodge can take great pride in being part of this effort. From hosting the food drive at our Lodge to donating food, financial support, and countless volunteer hours, our Masonic family helped make these more than 30 thank-you cards from military families at Twentynine Palms possible. These cards are a wonderful reminder that when we put our principles into action, our service reaches far beyond the walls of the Lodge. 🇺🇸

More than 30 thank-you cards. More than 30 reminders of why we do this. 🇺🇸

These cards came from military families at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms following our most recent Feeding Military Families Food Drive. They are addressed to the Satellite Rotary Club of Military Family Support, but the thanks truly belong to everyone who made the drive possible.

To every Rotarian, Mason, church and service organization, business owner, community group, donor, volunteer, family, and young person who collected food, gave financially, packed boxes, loaded pallets, drove trucks, or simply helped spread the word—these thank-you cards are for you.

Our August drive collected more than eight tons of food and supplies and helped us reach the “Double Nickel”—more than 55 tons since 2022. But these handwritten cards remind us that behind every pound is a military family.

Thank you, Twentynine Palms, for taking the time to say thank you. And to everyone who helped make this possible: read these cards and know that your generosity reached exactly where it was intended to go. 🇺🇸

A huge thank you to the Brothers of San Dimas Masonic Lodge No. 428 for helping Feeding Military Families reach the Double Nickel—more than 55 tons of food and supplies collected since 2022! 🇺🇸

The Lodge once again opened its doors to host the August food drive, but the Brothers’ contribution went far beyond providing a location. They gave countless volunteer hours setting up, receiving donations, sorting and packing food, loading trucks, and helping get everything ready for delivery to our military families.

Our Brothers also provided generous financial support, and special thanks go to every Brother who stepped forward to meet the Secretary’s Challenge by donating his weight in food. That challenge has become an important part of what the Masonic family brings to this effort.

More than eight tons were collected during the August drive, helping push Feeding Military Families past 55 tons—and San Dimas Lodge has been an important part of making that possible.

Thank you, Brothers, for putting our Masonic principles into action and continuing to answer the call to serve. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 We reached the Double Nickel — 55 tons!

With the tremendous response to our August 15 food drive, Feeding Military Families has now collected and distributed more than 110,000 pounds of food and essential supplies since this effort began in 2022.

But 55 tons isn’t really a story about weight. It’s a story about people—Rotarians, Masons, church ministries, service organizations, local businesses, community groups, young people, and entire families working side by side to support military families throughout Southern California.

No single organization reached the Double Nickel. A community did.

I’ve written about the people, partnerships, and thousands of individual acts of service that made this milestone possible.

🇺🇸 The granddaughters of a Senior DeMolay and a Job’s Daughter are already showing that service carries from one generation to the next.

These two young volunteers, just 8 and 10 years old, rolled up their sleeves today and helped unload an early delivery from the Hacienda Heights Women’s Club for tomorrow’s Feeding Military Families Food Drive.

For San Dimas Masonic Lodge No. 428, there is something particularly special about seeing the next generation of our extended Masonic family learning the value of service firsthand.

The food and supplies they helped unload are being prepared for military families connected to Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Camp Pendleton, and Fort Irwin.

Tomorrow, it’s our turn. We encourage our Brothers, Masonic family, friends, and members of the community to bring a food donation, volunteer, or simply stop by and lend their support.

The lesson of service is best taught by example—and these two young ladies are already setting one.

🇺🇸 Join us tomorrow and help support our military families.

An early delivery—and two young volunteers already making a difference!

As we prepare for tomorrow’s Feeding Military Families food drive, we were grateful to receive an early delivery of donated food supplies from the Hacienda Heights Women’s Club.

And they brought some extra helping hands! Two young assistants, just 8 and 10 years old, pitched in to help unload the trailer and get the donations ready for distribution.

These supplies will soon be headed to military families connected to Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Camp Pendleton, and Fort Irwin.

Tomorrow’s food drive is about more than collecting food. It’s about communities coming together—across organizations and across generations—to support the men and women who serve our country and the families who serve alongside them.

A big thank you to the Hacienda Heights Women’s Club—and especially our two youngest volunteers—for getting us off to a great start! 🇺🇸❤️

This is what Masonic Relief looks like in action.

San Dimas Masonic Lodge No. 428 is proud to once again open our Lodge and put our members, our facility, and our energy behind Feeding Military Families.

Our dining room has become a staging center where donated food and essential supplies will be inspected, sorted, palletized, and prepared for delivery to military communities at Camp Pendleton, Fort Irwin, and Twentynine Palms.

Saturday is when it all comes together—and volunteers are welcome.

Brotherly Love. Relief. Truth. Put into action.
