Bringing home a new puppy? 🐾 Before those little paws start exploring, take five minutes to puppy-proof — here are the 10 in-home dangers we see most, and how to prevent each one.

Most of these are quick fixes that can prevent an emergency vet visit.

Got a question about your new puppy? Dr. Cabrera does free video vet chats — link in bio. We just ask a $10 donation, which helps put a real vet clinic on wheels for our community. 💙

🐾 New: free “Ask A Vet” video chats with Dr. Cabrera

Been meaning to ask a vet about your pet but the timing’s never right? Now you can — free, from your couch.

Dr. Cabrera is opening a weekday video window for quick vet questions. Feeding and diet, socializing a new puppy, that one weird thing your dog keeps doing — bring it. It’s a real conversation with a licensed vet, no waiting room.

How it works: pick a time, and a private video link comes straight to your inbox. No visit fee — we’re a 501(c)(3), so we simply ask for a $10 donation if it helped, and every dollar goes toward putting a real vet clinic on wheels.

Believe in the little stuff. 💚💛♥️
