With a heavy heart, I want to let each of you know that after 5 years, Hope Animal Network is closing its doors. We met lot's of wonderful and abolutely crazy animal lovers along the way, and we had some very trying and emotional times as well. But best of all, with your help, we saved lot's of animals that needed saving and helped other organizations do the same. That said, the war is not over--the battle line is merely shifting. What Hope Animal Network started as an animal welfare community and resource exchange in 2008 morphed into a volunteer matchmaking service in 2011. However, the number of help requests (not volunteers) has since waned. There is no shortage of non-profits out there, so we're going to close this one and focus our efforts on making others stronger.
