We desperately need fosters for these 8 kittens that came into the clinic today! Please let us know if you can help us, so they don't have to go back on the streets. Sign up to foster with Smittens Rescue if you're in the San Diego area! If you can't foster, please share this!

For the past two weeks we’ve been working on getting a whole family of black cats TNR’d. We released this mom and her one year old son this morning!

All of the cats that come through our clinic are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and treated for fleas at no cost to their caregivers. We rely on donations to do this lifesaving work. Please donate if you can!

We helped 44 cats this month!

September was all about getting the last straggler cats at a number of colonies. This can be the most difficult trapping work, since the last cats left are usually the most skittish, trap savvy, or just want nothing to do with us 😅

One very special cat that came in on Tuesday with a complete a**l prolapse is currently recovering in our boarding area after getting the emergency care he needed.

All of the cats that came through our clinic received spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and flea treatment. This is at no cost to the cat’s caregivers, thanks to our generous donors. If you’d like to support our lifesaving work, please donate!

Feral Cat Haul!

This morning we trapped seven adult cats from a caretaker’s house. Her neighbors moved away about a year ago, and left their two unfixed cats behind. The result is a colony of about 25 cats and kittens that are unowned and continuously procreating.

One cat in particular (see last slide) had a complete a**l prolapse. Our veterinarians performed a special surgery along with his neuter and vaccinations and he’ll stay in boarding with us until he recovers.

Every feral cat that comes into our clinic receives a spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and flea treatment. This is at no cost to the cat’s caregivers, thanks to generous donors.

Make an appoinment with us for spooky season! www.feralcat.com

She’s dying to get her cats fixed!

Rita has been waiting forever to get her cats spayed and neutered. And now they’ve had a litter of kittens 🤦🏼‍♀️

Don’t let your cat’s spay/neuter appointment become as dramatic as Rita and her… situation.

Free for community cats and low cost for pets and rescues! These services are available right here at Feral Cat Coalition.

Help us control the spooky overpopulation crisis and bring in those cats!

Ear tip appreciation post!

It’s always so nice to see the cats we’ve TNR’d thriving in their environments. Their ear tips help us identify that they’ve already been through a TNR program, and helps them to not get trapped again.

Some of these cats came to us underweight, sick, and with dental issues. Now that they’ve been fixed and vaccinated, they will live much healthier lives and won’t contribute to overpopulation.

August was our busiest month yet!

We helped 60 cats from a number of locations, including the trailer park where we’ve been working at for about a month.

All of the cats we trapped that came through our clinic received spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and flea treatment. Some cats received antibiotics and dental work as well. All of this lifesaving care comes at no cost to the cat’s caregivers, thanks to generous donations.

This is the 44th cat that we’ve helped from the trailer park! Her caregiver was so excited for her to be back home.

Each cat that we trapped and brought into our clinic received neuter/spay surgeries, vaccines, and flea treatment. Some cats also received antibiotics and dental work, at no cost to their caregivers, thanks to generous donors.
