Imagine if we could get such performance?

Today residents will see new red curb markings along some Coronado streets. Each year, the city reviews traffic and safety patterns to consider changes in design or signage. In particular, high-activity and high-traffic areas in business districts, school zones, and other heavily used corridors are reviewed. This year, to enhance visibility and safety at high-activity intersections, red curb painting was implemented in several areas. The new red curbing will provide clearer visual separation for pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists.

Starting in November, the La Jolla community is inundated with illegal yard signs tied to streetlights and traffic signs. We encourage you to remove them if at all possible. Most of these services are unlicensed and uninsured and really the last people you would want hanging lights on your house. Thank you to our grafitti abatement team for removing hundreds of these!

Rain and wind events bring a tremendous amount of palm fronds to the ground and sidewalks that would be left for weeks. That is when Enhance La Jolla goes into action. Alberto Diaz worked on this gathering these palm fronds today and more tomorrow. Thank you, Alberto!

Our landscape and litter control crews are on the job even during winter storms. These storms bring a whole lot of palm debris to our streets and sidewalks. We are very appreciative of their work!
