Act Like You Matter Student-led, solution-driven, anti-bullying empowerment programs for K-12. Act Like You Matter is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in San Diego.

Helping young people find their voice and change the way their generation treats each other, so that each child can rise to their full potential without fear of being bullied. Offering student-led, age-appropriate, anti-bullying programs for K-12 on campus (San Diego County) and live-streamed (Everywhere!). Also offering private Bullying Resilience Coaching and Bullying Prevention Consulting for s

chools and businesses. We provide the tools that help each person be part of the solution. Mission: To empower young people to find their voice, be part of the solution, and change the way their generation treats each other, so that schools and communities are places of acceptance and tolerance, where empathy and kindness are second nature and each child can rise to their full potential, without fear of being bullied. We’re a diverse team of individuals looking for others who want to help build something different and maybe even change the world. Seeking leaders, changemakers, disruptors, catalysts, allies, defenders, upstanders, writers, creators, actors, videographers, problem solvers, and anyone who wants to make a difference.

Morgan shared, “When designing this t-shirt I envisioned a wearable piece of positivity. My favorite part about it is the stars on both the text in the back and the circle on the front, it reminds me that there is beauty in being one of a kind, just like the stars.”

Ever wonder why certain colors make you feel a certain way?

We intentionally chose each brand color to represent something we strive to help every child discover:
💙 Confidence to find their voice and speak up.
💛 Hope and discovering create ways to navigate peer conflict and life’s challenges.
🖤 Resilience to become so secure in who they are that hate loses its power.
🤍 Freedom to embrace what makes them different because the world needs what makes them unique.

At Act Like You Matter, we believe the key to ending bullying isn’t simply asking people to be kind. It’s helping kids and teens build the confidence, self-worth, resilience, and practical tools they need to rise above bullying, navigate peer pressure, and stay true to themselves.

Because when young people know their worth, the power of hate disappears, and they’re free to become who they’re meant to be.

Our world is constantly changing but one way we can change it for the better is by sharing our stories! Whether it’s your stories about bullying, or maybe you were the one bullying, or maybe it’s mental health struggles, whatever struggle you’ve been through and overcame could be someone else’s push towards a better future.
