On Thursday, May 2, 2013, Easter Seals New York Bronx Child Development Center (CDC) held a plaque unveiling ceremony in honor of the life and legacy of NFL superstar, Junior Seau. The plaque is a symbol of the generous donation, given in memorial of Junior, by his friend and Easter Seals New York supporter, Stephen Katzman.

Stephen, owner of S. Katzman Produce was joined by his children, Stephanie and Sam; Mario Andreani, manager of S. Katzman Produce; TV personality, “Produce Pete” (Peter Napolitano); Jason Gurka, a former Director of the Junior Seau Foundation; Bronx CDC students and their families; and Easter Seals New York staff.

The plaque, engraved with Junior’s favorite saying “it’s all about the kids,” represents his impact, which not only resonates in his hometown of San Diego but throughout New York and across the country.
