El Coquí de San Diego Doña Casilda Pagan organized “La Casa de Puerto Rico” in October, 1972.

After many years of planning, hard work and fundraising The House of Puerto Rico Cottage Museum was inaugurated on Saturday, February 4, 2006 in Balboa Park, San Diego.
