We finally have the published research to prove what we all knew was happening:
The communities in and around the Tijuana River Valley are being assaulted with poisonous air containing unsafe levels of toxic gasses released into the air by sewage and other chemical contaminants flowing through the watershed .
We want to thank the research teams at UCSD, SDSU, and UT, Austin for their hard work and their dedication to the people living in the midst of this public health crisis.

Newly published research reveals that the polluted Tijuana River releases large quantities of the toxic gas hydrogen sulfide — commonly known as “sewer gas” because of its association with sewage and rotten egg smell.
