Yesterday, April 21st, marked a major step forward for filmmakers, creatives, and the future of San Diego County’s general economy! This marks the first step toward building a brighter future for our region.

The momentum is real, and we’re just getting started. We’re excited to keep pushing this forward and can’t wait to see the next chapter unfold this September!

On March 24th, during the SDC Film Initiative Press Conference, San Diego’s film and entertainment community came together outside the County Administration Building to urge our Board of Supervisors to fund the three-part film initiative in the upcoming budget.
We’re grateful for every professional raising their voice for a film infrastructure that would bring job growth back to San Diego.
