On Sunday, August 16, the Miramar Young Marines had the opportunity to support the Elkenette Fashion Show at the El Cajon Elks Lodge.
Our Young Marines helped serve food and assist models off the runway, helping the event run smoothly while giving back to our local community.

Our Young Marines were honored to come down and help the Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego on base museum on May 23 2026. These Young Marines came and answered the call when the museum asked for help with groundskeeping. It was an awesome experience and our kids were more than willing to help out and after they were able to get a tour of the museum.

Honoring the heroes who gave everything.

Today, May 25, 2026, the Miramar Young Marines had the profound honor of attending the annual Memorial Day service at Star Park in Coronado, California.

This moving event was beautifully organized by VFW Post 2422, the MOAA Silver Strand Chapter, the Coronado Council Navy League, and the Marine Corps League Coronado Detachment.

For our Young Marines, today was far more than just a ceremony—it was a powerful reminder that freedom comes with a tremendous cost. We gathered to honor the countless individuals who sacrificed their lives so that we may walk freely today. Seeing this dedication showed our youth that wearing a military uniform is not just a title; it is a profound commitment and a sacrifice that endures to this day.
