Today was our first Monthly Member Connection + Intention Call and it was wonderful 💛

Yesterday I shared our theme for June in the Weekly Weave Newsletter: Abundance ✨

I love the easy-breezy energy that comes with abundance. There is enough time, we have enough energy and access to unlimited resources. 💵

Today, this mighty group got to dive into it a littler deeper. Abundance isn’t just positive thinking and affirmations. This month at Twine, we looking at it as a legit mindset and business strategy.

We dug into s concept of Pie Eaters vs Pie Bakers and how it’s easier to sit in a fixed/finite/limited mindset, like a Pie Eater. Being afraid to share the pie, somone already has the pie, there just isn’t enough pie! 😱

Where a founder rooted in an abundant mindset simply sees opportunity to bake more pies. 👩‍🍳 There is no shortage when we leverage abundance and creativity.

We also got to share wins from May (there were a lot) and set intentions for June. On July 7th, we’ll gather again to follow up, support, share and celebrate our collective forward progress.

This is just one more new way Twine is building and adding value to our community, beyond our epic IRL events 👯

Tonight we’ll gather, connect, unwind, learn about these incredible women owned businesses and raffle off over $4500 in amazing prizes!

A few months ago, when I was brainstorming ways to celebrate our first year, I thought a raffle would be fun. Something a little different and a great way to showcase some of the incredible women I’ve met over the last year. Last night was something special. 🎨

Community In Color brought together 20 incredible women, 3 primary colors and the space to connect and create. It was incredible.

Here’s how it worked: every woman chose a primary color based on the energy of the season she’s in right now. Not her favorite color. The one that felt true today.

🔴 Red: the doers. Action, momentum, fire. In a season of building and pushing forward.

🟡 Yellow: the becomers. Clarity, identity, growth. Doing the inner work and stepping into what’s next.

🔵 Blue: the knowers. Depth, calm, steadiness. Moving through the world with intention and wisdom.

Each woman started with just her color. One perspective. One starting point. Then, table by table, color by color, they connected. They mixed. They shared. They collaborated. And by the end of the night every canvas held something none of them could have created alone. ✨

As business owners, we use our creativity so strategically every single day, solving problems, making decisions, figuring it out. Last night was such a relief to use our creativity just for fun. A room full of wine, paint, and women who came to connect and create in community. 💛

Everyone left with more than a painting. It was such a beautiful expression of community and reminder that
you don’t lose yourself when you let other people in. You gain range you couldn’t access alone.

That’s Twine. That’s what we’re building. 🔴🟡🔵

And good news, Community in Color will become a recurring event on our Sunday Funday calendar. Save the date for Sunday August 2nd and it will be free for Twine Members’ Circle!

Plot twist: yesterday’s coffee wasn’t about business tips and definitely wasn’t your typical “networking” hour.

Women came ready to talk about the stuff that actually matters: confidence gaps, boundary-setting, the weight of inconsistent income, splitting yourself between “biz boss” and “mama,” ADD and time management, the courage it takes to cold call differently, and so much more.

What struck us most? The vulnerability. The honesty. And then, the immediate support and resource-sharing that followed.

This is what happens when women show up for each other. This is what Twine is really about. 💛✨
