Movemeant Foundation

Movemeant Foundation Movemeant helps girls 8-18 stay active, build confidence, and cultivate self-worth through personalized health and wellness programs.

At Movemeant Foundation we empower girls by helping them unlock strength, confidence, & potential within their bodies and mindset. We pair physical fitness programs with mental coaching to help girls boost feelings of worthiness and form positive relationships with their own bodies – recognizing it as a source of power instead of shame. These new feelings create a drive to tackle life’s complexiti

es with inner-determination and confidence, equipping girls with the courage and resilience necessary to succeed. By guiding girls towards a deeper understanding of their physical and mental capabilities through movement and a growth mindset, we at Movemeant Foundation are helping create a world where girls and women can feel empowered and unstoppable. Girls throughout the world have an immense amount of power, creativity, and potential but too often that is stifled due to cultural expectations and limited opportunities. But what if every girl was free to break the mold and reach wildly for whatever her heart desires? We are painting a new future where there are no limitations or constraints on girls’ possibilities; a future in which they are empowered to express themselves, know their inherent worth and capabilities, set ambitious goals, and ultimately, blaze trails with honor and determination. https://www.movemeantfoundation.com/

💃 From Passion to Possibility✨

We’re thrilled to introduce Dakota from Omaha, NE, a Winter 2024-2025 Meant to Move Grant recipient! 🎉

Dakota has been dancing since she was three years old, growing into a passionate and dedicated performer. She recently transitioned to a new studio, attending conventions, assisting with dance programs, and working toward her dream of studying dance in college.

Beyond dance, Dakota is a student leader, serving on student council and advocating for change. Dance has given her confidence, strength, and a powerful community, while also helping her develop resilience, leadership, and discipline.

🔥 Meet Camila, our unstoppable 9-year-old force from Los Angeles and the latest recipient of the 2024-2025 Meant to Move Grant! 🔥

This girl is breaking down barriers every day—training year-round, leading her team as the only girl, and proving that baseball isn’t just for the boys! 💥⚾️

But Camila’s impact doesn’t stop there. She’s taking her passion to the next level with the “That’s a Girl” Baseball Initiative, inspiring other girls to STAY in baseball and crush the stereotypes that say they should switch to softball.

And her dreams? To snag a college scholarship, and one day—one day—suit up for the Dodgers! 😎✨ With her drive, focus, and relentless dedication, we have no doubt she’s going all the way.

We are SO proud to support Camila’s journey with the Grant and can’t wait to see her light up the world of baseball!

We’re excited to announce the second recipient of our 2024-2025 Meant to Move Grant: Robert’s Hiking Club for Girls in NYC! 🍂

Robert, a dedicated teacher at a Title 1 school, leads this amazing program that connects girls from underserved communities to the healing power of nature. With 75% of participants being female, the club helps these students improve their physical & mental health through hiking. It’s the only full-time hiking program of its kind in NYC schools, bringing 35-45 high school girls together each hike to build confidence, resilience, and strong bonds. 💪

The only thing standing in their way? The cost of transportation. Thanks to Movemeant’s Meant to Move grant, we’re thrilled to help cover these costs, ensuring these young women continue their journey of growth and empowerment.

We’re so proud to support Robert’s Hiking Club and can’t wait to see the impact it will have on these incredible young women! 🍃🌱
