Rooted in Advocacy is a military-focused nonprofit based in San Diego County, California. We serve active duty Military members, Veterans, and their families by addressing food insecurity through direct meal support and year-round
advocacy. Our work begins with efforts like providing holiday boxes and grows into larger initiatives focused on increasing awareness and driving policy change. As a women-led organization, we understand the challenges of life in the military and are committed to quietly standing in the gap where support is needed most. We don’t just distribute groceries—we challenge the systems that make them hard to access. We advocate for better chow quality, higher allowances, and real solutions that reflect the needs of today’s military families. Where food banks stop, we continue—behind the scenes, on the front lines of change.
