Let's talk about the people behind the chairs.

Our barbers and stylists gave up four hours of their Saturday and cut 500 heads of hair without stopping. No breaks worth mentioning. No kid turned away. Just clippers, patience, and a whole lot of kids leaving the chair standing a little taller.

You cannot buy that. You can only volunteer it.

To every barber and stylist who showed up, and to California Barber and Beauty College for a decade of making this possible, thank you. You are the heart of this event.

Our 10th Annual Back to School Haircut Drive is in the books, and 500 kids are walking into the new school year with a fresh cut, a backpack full of supplies, and the confidence to match.

Thank you to every donor who made it free for every family who walked in. Thank you to Skyline Church for the doors, the space, and the volunteers who kept it all running. And thank you to California Barber and Beauty College, where this started ten years ago.

Ten years ago this started in a small barber college with a few hundred people. Today it’s one of the biggest days on our calendar, and none of it happens by accident.

To our donors: every dollar you gave went straight to supplies, food, and fun for these kids. Thank you for showing up for our community year after year.

To our volunteer barbers: four hours of your Saturday, hundreds of fresh cuts, and a lot of smiles. You’re the heart of this thing.

A special thank you to Skyline Church for opening your doors and to your volunteers who kept the whole day running, and to California Barber and Beauty College, where this all began and who continue to make it possible.

This past weekend was a powerful reminder of what happens when a community comes together.
