Busy behind the scenes building something amazing. Stay tuned for more, you’re going to want to know about PULSE on the BORDER. Taking it up a few notch he’s ans going for authorization for 4 counties in Southern California and we’re about to expand to the entire border region of California. Scandal may have ravished the original organization, and as a result of the ongoing investigation into our former COO, people have been confused about whether we are still around. The answer has always been yes. However, in an effort to shine in all that we do rather than be overshadowed by someone else’s s**tty choices, I’ve made the decision to start a new organization and take all the lessons learned and implement them. Our structure will be different and I will not take a position as the CEO but rather we will be a group of 6-8 folx who share in decision making and responsibilities and our board is a bang up set of all stars ready to guide us in all that we do. We’re going to raise funds for the start up costs so be watching for ways you can support. If you’re in Southern California and want in on the ground breaking action, hit me up.
I’ve also started to write the story of my life and am working to publish a book in the next year. So many good things going on, let the haters hate, there’s never going to be any stopping of this chingona. Watch out world, after a long sabbatical, Tara is back!!!

Why mouthpieces? Pipes are paramount, but not the entire picture. Mouthpieces allow for pipes to be shared safely, and different colors help people identify their own pipe and others’.

Being a gramma is where it’s at! I’ve been on a social media hiatus for close to a year. I needed to find and create the space to really heal some deep trauma and learn to balance all the many things. It was my time to detach just enough that I could see what was mine to carry, where my focus lies, to spend much more quality time with my family, to work on expanding Harm Reduction Coalition of San Diego, build out relationships in other countries, take care of my health, to move to a new house closer to my parents and kids schools, to be there for my first grandchild’s birth and watch his little self come into this world, to be able to have all of my kids living or staying under one roof for first time ever, to explore new places, to find joy in the simple things like cleaning the house, to mourn and grieve huge losses, to take care of my soul, to navigate personal and professional relationships and be okay with the fact that not all were a good fit, to fight hard for my daughters and son, to take a look at the places that scare me, to learn and do research, to expand my education, and to catch my breath….and for the first time in at least 7 years, took some time away from it all. I stayed connected and still doing all the things, but much more behind the scenes and doing some pretty huge s**t in every area of my life. Growth is ugly at times, but not really. Look at the rewards, it’s all worth every bit of the effort.
